Meet Bronwyn, a member of Transportation & Parking Services at Texas Tech and an attendant at the campus entrance stations. When I arrived this cold morning, she was standing outside of the booth with both arms in the air and an enthusiastic Guns Up! She also did this to others in front of me. Being the curious person I am, I circled back to say hi.

In our brief interaction, Bronwyn shared that she's a morning person, and it was obvious that she loves her job and enjoys welcoming people. Her infectious personality and warm customer service made even this short encounter memorable. Imagine how this resonates with prospective students and their parents and other visitors to campus.

Exceptional customer service can take many forms, but Bronwyn's example stands out for its authenticity and genuineness, the purest forms of expression. What you witness with Bronwyn is a true reflection of who I imagine she is as a person.

It's important to take a moment to acknowledge and appreciate exceptional instances of customer service. While it's common to express dissatisfaction on public platforms, the positive experiences, like the one with Bronwyn, often outweigh the negative ones.

Remember, we never reach a peak of excellence; we can be better today than we were yesterday.
