Don't Sell...Tell!

An opportunity I notice many small businesses overlooking is creating personal connections with their customers through social marketing. More focus is on product and how "we can help you," rather than creating relatable content that can be effective in bridging long-term 🤝 relationships.
💯 Product marketing is important, don't get me wrong, but every bank has a checking account and every pharmacy has cold and sinus medicine. 💯
Separate your business from others:
▶ Tell stories of your employees and customers to draw on relatable experiences and emotions
▶ Provide thought capital through the expertise of your employees; follow trends or the latest industry news and, through video or blog, educate the customer and, equally important, potential customers
Adding just these two simple steps to a marketing plan can help a business establish its own unique identity and distinguish itself from others.
👊 Set a goal of fostering trust and loyalty.
